Very shocking and painful news for me and my colleagues of CENAP who have known Philip Thomas. It won't much help, just to extend our sincere condolences to his afflicted family and friends. I have personally been gratified to spend a short but precious period of time with Philip Thomas, a person whom I greatly esteemed, for his intelligence, kindness and courtesy, full of creative ideas, with his head firmly on his shoulders.
