We shall always remember Philip. More than a collague, he was a friend. An outstanding peacebuilder, the professional skills and creativity that made him such a valued member of our team were the result of his exceptional qualities as a human being. He was an open, tolerant, sharing and generous person. Helping others came naturally to him, leading him into a new path in his professional develpment as a peacebuilding practitioner, this time as a coach. He was one of those persons one comes to appreciate and love, even in the distance. Those who worked with him in Guatemala, many years ago, are mourning his passing today together with us, his team mates of today. We will miss a colleague who shared the vision for IPAT and contributed enormously to the development of its vision and program. Somebody who professed and practiced Interpeace's principles in a way that felt as he had always been around. But we will mostly miss his wisdom, his warmth and his joy: the world is a lonlier place without him. Farewell, my friend, wherever you are.
